The Quantum Archivist is Greg Colati. Greg has been the Digital Initiatives Coordinator for the Penrose Library at the University of Denver since 2005. At DU he directs the development of digital projects and collections that support research, teaching and learning and oversees the Library’s overall technology systems.

He is currently a member of the oversight committee for the digital repository of the Colorado Alliance of Research libraries. Greg has directed or participated in the development of digital repositories in a number of Universities and consortia including the Tufts University Digital Library, and the Research Commons of the Washington Research Library Consortium.

Prior to his current position, Greg was the Head of Special Collections and University Archives at George Washington University in Washington, DC. He has also served as the Director of Digital Collections and Archives at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.

An archivist by training, Greg has an MLS from Simmons College GSLIS, and a M.A. in History from Trinity College. He is an adjunct professor at the DU School of Library and Information Science, and has for many years taught courses for the Society of American Archivists’ continuing education program.
